The lead instructor at Modern Warriors - Franklin, Dwayne is a dedicated firearms educator with over 23 years of experience. A proud native of Tennessee, he began his career in private education before shifting his focus to empowering civilians with real-world, self-defense firearms training. His teaching style combines decades of classroom experience with tactical, hands-on instruction.

Dwayne holds a wide range of certifications, including NRA Pistol Instructor, NRA Range Safety Officer, Refuse to Be a Victim Instructor, TN Department of Homeland Security Instructor, Armed Guard, Rangemaster Certified Instructor, and Citizens Safety Gateway Instructor. Whether working with new shooters or advanced students, Dwayne’s goal is always the same: to make confident, capable protectors out of every person he trains.
