Paul is a U.S. Army Infantry veteran with two combat tours in Iraq, a graduate of Ranger School, Airborne School, and Combat Lifesaver, and a former Combatives Instructor. He has carried a firearm professionally and personally for over 20 years and brings more than 30 years of Martial Arts experience to his instruction. He holds armed guard certifications in California, Tennessee, and Wisconsin, and has spent over two decades specializing in executive protection, estate security, and high-risk environments.

After completing his military service, Paul earned his EMT certification at UCLA to build on his Army medical training. He later entered the film and television industry as a trainer and technical advisor, contributing to projects such as American Sniper, Tenet, NCIS, GunnyTime with R. Lee Ermey, and Call of Duty: Black Ops. Today, he teaches firearms, tactics, self-defense, and life-saving skills at Modern Warriors - Nashville, helping civilians, law enforcement, and security professionals elevate their readiness.
