Cobalt Kinetics ECLIPSE 5.56 AR-15 Rifle is equipped with all of Cobalt’s technical advancements, in a familiar and utilitarian shape. Cobalt Kinetics ECLIPSE receivers are machined in-house using 7075 aluminum to maximize fit and quality. Cobalt’s ECLIPSE receives type III hard coat anodizing before the entire gun is sprayed with a protective and cosmetic coat of Cerakote. The ECLIPSE comes equipped with a Fifteen-inch M-Lok handguard and features a full-length Picatinny on the top rail.

Cobalt Kinetics ECLIPSE comes with Cobalt’s patented DUAL DROP technology, which allows the bolt to be sent home via your thumb on either side of the ambidextrous forward assist. This allows the shooter to keep their weapon on target after a mag change and send the bolt home quickly and effortlessly with on push of the thumb. Cobalt’s ECLIPSE is equipped with a fully ambidextrous magazine release, selector, and charge handle. The ECLIPSE is an equipped with a enhanced single stage trigger which offers light, crisp performance.

Cobalt Kinetics ECLIPSE receives a premium M-16 bolt carrier group which is treated with a lithium-iron surface conversion to deliver long-term reliability under prolonged operation. Cobalt’s ECLIPSE is constructed with a fixed gas block to ensure full power gas delivery to the bolt group in adverse conditions. The H2 buffer improves reliability and recoil impulse.

Cobalt Kinetics ECLIPSE 4150 CMV steel barrel is treated with a lithium-iron surface conversion to add strength, rigidity, and resistance to heat and erosion. Its barrel’s contour has been carefully designed to increase inherent long term accuracy and overall balance. The ECLIPSE is chambered in the 223 Wylde and features a 1-8″ twist with a 5-R rifling profile.
