Daniel Defense took their battle-tested M4A1 design and made it even more operator friendly by adding a fully ambidextrous lower to provide right- and left-handed shooters with more flexibility and control. They also swapped out the RIS II rail system with their new RIS III system, which reduces weight by using M-LOK attachment instead of picatinny without sacrificing strength. This special edition comes in FDE with a pinned and welded Dead Air KeyMo flash hider to allow you to mount any compatible suppressor. It also comes with a Trigger Tech 2-Stage trigger, Magpul MBUS Pro front and rear flip up sights, rail covers, an Armageddon Gear Sling, and FDE rifle case. Phenomenal Rifle, but...
Functionally and structually, wonderful. Trigger was a wild card for me not having used a TT...the takeup is short, action is quick and reset is next to noting to allow for quick follows. I am amazed at how impressive the Pro MBUS are, making me rethink my optic set. On coupon SALE, this rifle is incredible value, no one would consider retail it at retail, and in the middle it is great. Jury is out on the grip-n-rip handle, I assumed I was going to replace it and am surprised I havent, yet. Plus, it comes with a hard case large enought to double as a car carrier (straps not included)!
