A variant of the HK416, the MR27 was originally adopted by the US Marine Corps in 2010 as their new Infantry Automatic Rifle(IAR). Used in Iraq and Afghanistan, the MR27 is known for its battle-proven precision, durability and reliability. The MR27 is now available in limited numbers for civilian sales.

The MR27 utilizes HK's  proprietary gas piston operating system and prevents carbon and fouling from entering the weapons action. The quad rail free floating handguard allows for attachment for accessories and can be removed without the need for tools.

The barrel is produced by HK's cold hammer forging process with the highest quality steel for superior performance and minimal degradation.

The MR27 uses a non-chrome lined, CHF barrel and semi-auto bolt carrier.

The MR27 Deployment Kit is a limited run of 500 and includes a complete loadout as fielded by the US Marine Corps. These kits will include a Trijicon ACOG 3.5x35 with RMR on a Larue mount, Knight's Armament 600 meter folding sights, Vertical "broomstick" grip, Blue Force Gear Sling, Harris Bipod and AIM Manta Rail covers.
