Sean Burrows is an accomplished multigun competition shooter, certified firearms instructor, and co-founder of Elevated Training LLC. He began competing in 2005 and has since become a dedicated figure in practical shooting sports, regularly competing in 3-gun matches at the club, regional, and national levels. His passion for firearms extends beyond competition, as he actively works to educate and train shooters of all skill levels.

Alongside his wife and shooting teammate, Alysia, Sean enjoys sharing his knowledge through coaching, competition, and firearms education. As the Director of Training at Modern Warriors, he is committed to helping students develop their skills, confidence, and understanding of shooting sports and personal defense.

As the co-founder of Elevated Training LLC, Alysia is an accomplished multigun competition shooter, NRA-certified instructor, and certified Utah concealed firearms permit instructor. She discovered her passion for firearms while earning her B.S. at the University of Utah, where she took her first pistol course in 2009. Since then, she has dedicated herself to shooting sports, personal defense, and firearms education.

Alysia and her husband, Sean, have been married for 22 years and share a love for training and competing together. You can find her on social media, where she works to educate, inspire, and empower women and families to exercise their 2nd Amendment rights and gain confidence through firearms training.

Dwayne is a proud native of Tennessee, a passionate handgun enthusiast, and the lead firearms instructor at Modern Warriors Franklin. With 23 years of experience, teaching at a private school, Dwayne transitioned his love for education into a mission to help civilians fast-track their path to success in firearms training—particularly for self-defense purposes.

In addition to his role at Modern Warriors, Dwayne holds multiple certifications, including NRA Pistol Instructor, NRA Range Safety Officer, NRA Refuse to Be a Victim Instructor, TN Department of Homeland Security Instructor, TN Armed Guard, Rangemaster Certified Instructor, and Citizens Safety Gateway Instructor.

Born and raised in Nashville, TN, Jarrod Romine has been a dedicated instructor at Modern Warriors' Nashville location for over three years, bringing both expertise and a passion for safety to each class. With a commitment to providing professional, real-world training, Jarrod is a certified instructor with the Modern Warriors program, as well as the USCCA (United States Concealed Carry Association), and serves as a Range Safety Officer certified by the NRA. Additionally, he holds certification as an Armed Guard, further enhancing his comprehensive background in personal defense and firearm safety. Jarrod's instruction is known for its clarity, attention to detail, and personalized approach, making him a trusted guide for students at all levels.

Paul has spent over 20 years carrying a firearm both personally and professionally, and he brings more than three decades of Martial Arts experience to the table. He served in the US Army Infantry for 8 years, completing two combat tours in Iraq. Along the way, he earned his stripes at elite schools like Ranger School, Airborne School, and Combat Lifesaver training, and he also served as a Combatives Instructor.

He is well experienced in the security industry, with 23 years of specializing in executive protection and armed guard roles across multiple states, while also earning his EMT certification at UCLA. Paul’s expertise extends to the entertainment industry, where he’s worked as a trainer and advisor on projects like American Sniper, Tenet, NCIS and Call of Duty: Black Ops. Today, he teaches firearms, self-defense, and life-saving skills like tourniquet application at Modern Warriors Nashville, helping civilians and professionals stay safe and prepared.
